The staff is friendly, personal and very helpful going out of their way to accomodate us. The cafe serves tasty food. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. The solar-powered lights and propane space heating, were more than sufficient. The bathroom had plenty of hot and cold running water at perfect pressure and were kept clean. The grounds were as advertised - well kept and very spacious. Kudos to Mark and Dawn for being environmentally conscience and reasonable. More than worth the cost.

This was a gem of a find! The property is meticulously designed and maintained. Having a flushing toilet and a warm shower while camping was a dream. The pie is the best I’ve ever had. Mark and his family are the best in class! It was a treat to connect with a local with historical knowledge, experience and appreciation for nature. I’m already planning my next visit!!!

What a neat place to stay, the cabin was very clean, beds were comfy, food was delicious, and Mark was a superb host. We definitely want to come back and stay longer (we were only stopping for a night). We went and hiked the mudflats and saw a family of elk, and drove up the mountain (though the exhibits were closed due to covid).

5 Star - Off Grid accommodations. No electricity in the cabins, but solar power lights them. The cabins are weather tight, clean, and my bed was very comfortable. I recommend their food. Mark is a mean cook and baker. The steak was delicious and the pie was to die for. The best part of the Eco Park Resort is Mark and his wife. Truly great people. Hospitality you don't experience in business anymore. Thanks you guys very much for a great stay! Brian Jackson

We had a great family stay here in 3 of the cabins, and Mark the owner was so friendly and accommodating, as well as the other staff. The dinner and breakfast at the cafe were very good and so convenient. It was a short drive to all of the Mount St. Helens lookouts and attractions. I think people need to just keep in mind that this is more like camping, and if you want climate control and more amenities you should look elsewhere. That being said there are heaters in the cabins (although it was warm when we went so didnt need them) and shared facilities with shower and bathroom that are kept in good shape.

I love this place. Make your reservations as it is very busy. The proprietor Mark Smith and his wife are wonderful people, and all who help him run the resort. Great place to chill out and take in nature. Ride your bike or fish. Have a Weyerhaeuser St. Helens tree farm recreation permit? This place is centrally located surrounded by the St. Helens tree farm. A zillion roads all around you and Mt. St. Helens is just up the road. I have stayed here and loved it. I will be back next season. Check out Mark, James, Johnny and the rest of the fellas. Mark is a pretty good cook too. Try the sampler breakfast or the Elk steak when available.

Good breakfast. Great Host. Quiet. Seriously, Mark is a gem of a human and very passionate about providing a great experience for his guests. Access to the mudflows is amazing. Just a beautiful place.

We loved parking our trailer in the spacious tree shaded space allotted us by Mark. We felt like we had arrived to a hidden peaceful paradise. The tree and wildflower lined walking path was so beautiful and quiet, I shared it only with a deer and her fawn. This place was a great respite after crowded National and State Parks. Mark is happy to make you breakfast or dinner and we enjoyed both. We have told everyone we meet about our stay at Eco Park, a wonderful secret place to share.
